Scuba Diver Dreams. A film by David Molino
Producer / Director David Molino talks about his experience filming Scuba Diver Dreams. "This is a Documentary film about a young person named Timmy, who has CdLS (Cornelia de Lange syndrome) who wanted to Scuba Dive. This is one of those projects that I actually had a great time filming, and enjoyed meeting a lot of really great people. I took nothing serious about this film until I actually met Timmy. He fascinated me. He had a certain honesty that was pure and uncontrived. More than that, he had the desire to want to show other's who were challenged with disabilities, the other side of the rainbow. He made us all believers. The question was; Who in their right mind would let a person with cognitive disabilities dive 70 feet beneath the ocean? Not to mention the liability, if things took a wrong turn... Timmy persisted and guided the rest to follow on a journey of letting go. Strangely enough, we all found baggage of our own that shifted the focus to ourselves."
